ABOUT

Trinitas Retreats are offered by Trinitas Services and led by Phillip Bass.  Phillip is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, a National Certified Counselor, a member of the American Counseling Association, and a Licensed Qualified Supervisor.  He earned a Master of Counselor Education, Mental Health track, at North Carolina Central University in 2013. He also holds a Master of Divinity (2006) and a Master of Theology (2009) from Duke University Divinity School.  In addition to being a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Phillip is also an ordained priest in the Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina. 

Phillip created the Nurture Play Structure Model of Therapy.

Phillip is passionate about leading small group retreats and has an extensive history of public speaking.  Phillip also enjoys collaborating with other professionals to deepen and enrich retreats.  Most recently, Phillip has worked with The Rev. Dr. Helen Svoboda-Barber (Cardboard Dog Coaching) on "Embracing Radical Acceptance; Learning a Relational Model of Faith."
